ATTENTION: FOOD SERVICE SUBSTITUTES NEEDED!

EARLY ISD has four campus cafeterias that often need substitute workers.

Food service experience preferred, but definitely not required!  

Great hours (6:00 am – 2:30 pm, M-F).

Each applicant must attend a brief orientation, and be able to pass a criminal background check.

Job openings are most often taken from our currently working cafeteria subs that are looking for full time employment.

Elementary School (3-5)

  • Self-Contained Paraprofessional
    • Provides support to students with disabilities in a specialized classroom setting. They assist the special education teacher in delivering individualized instruction, managing behavior, and meeting student's personal care needs. This includes tasks like reinforcing learning, implementing behavior plans, and assisting with daily living activities. 
  • Nurse/Student Aide
    • Provides support to students with disabilities in a specialized classroom setting. They assist the special education teacher in delivering individualized instruction, managing behavior, and meeting student's personal care needs. This includes tasks like reinforcing learning, implementing behavior plans, and assisting with daily living activities

  • Crossing Guard
    • Job description: Typically includes guiding students safely across streets before/after school, basic traffic direction, and good communication skills.
  • Paraprofessionals
    • Early High, Early Elementary, Early Middle, and Early Primary schools seek energetic, self-motivated individuals to assist in growing our students academically. Early ISD offers a great learning environment, competitive pay, and great facilities for candidates.
